Dr. Sharad Chandra is a Professor in the Department of Cardiology at King George's Medical University (KGMC), Lucknow. Dr. Chandra had completed his initial medical studies (MBBS and MD) from this very institution in 1999 and 2004 respectively. He also has a postdoctoral DM (Cardiology) degree from AIIMS New Delhi, which he received in 2008.

Dr. Sharad Chandra, apart from performing several Angiographies, Angioplasties and Pacemaker Implantations, he also regularly performs Trans-Septal Procedures and Percutaneous Mitral Balloon Valvotomies. He is also experienced in Swan-Ganz procedures, Intra Aortic Balloon Insertions and basic Electrophysiology, as well as implanting ICDs and Biventricular Pacemakers.
